The White Oak Yurt was finished and started renting in August 2019. It is the perfect place to escape and get away from traffic and city sounds. Instead, you can relax on your own very large, deck with a private hot tub and enjoy all the sights and sounds of nature. We’ve been told it is very peaceful listening to and watching the variety of songbirds, woodpeckers, owls and sometimes turkey that visit our property!
The kitchen countertops are made with locally sourced black walnut. There is a large section with 2 barstools for dining. The cabinets in the kitchen are made of locally sourced white oak trees. The kitchen is stocked with dishes, mugs, glassware, silverware, utensils, pots, pans, and most items you need to cook a tasty meal. There are 2 induction cooktops and the microwave is also a convection oven. There is a coffee pot, coffee, creamer, sugar and tea packets; toaster, blender, and dishwasher. Apartment sized refrigerator with a freezer and ice trays but you might bring a bag of ice if you plan to use a lot.
If plans call for staying inside, you can enjoy the views out the 5 large picture windows, 3 large opening windows, and the 5′ skylight. The couch has 2 reclining seats so you can kick back and relax while enjoying the view. If you just can’t stay away from technology, you’ll have access to free Wifi so you can browse away. The 49″ Smart TV allows you to use your accounts for Pandora, Hulu, Netflix, Amazon Prime, DishAnywhere, YouTube and more.
You get to sleep on a king size New Purple Mattress with 3″ Smart Comfort Grid. We have had nothing but excellent reviews so we feel pretty confident that you will sleep well and wake up rested. While laying in bed you can gaze up at the moon and stars through the 5′ skylight. The TV can be rotated so you can view it while laying in the bed if you so choose.

This is our third stay at the Yurts and we cannot recommend it enough! My only hesitation on referring friends is that this place keeps getting harder and harder to book😂 if you’re dates available, book it NOW! This place is so worth it. We love that it’s dog friendly and we can bring our two puppies with us. The views are beautiful. Melissa and Blake are very accommodating. We will come back year after year.

If I were to sum up our experience at the White Oak yurt, it would be “WOW!” The pure beauty of the trees and atmosphere was breathtaking. The details did not go unnoticed – from environmentally clean products, citronella candles and bug spray to use, the hot tub, seasonings in the cabinet to make our own dinner, the INCREDIBLY comfortable bed, and the kind owners! There were even binoculars to watch the birds at the bird feeders! I had a blast watching them and going through the guide book to find out what they were. We especially appreciated the food reviews and the walk through of everything in the yurt. We highly recommend the omelettes at Sweet N Savory, the Arkie burger at Rowdy Beaver, Eureka Springs museum, and the Razorback Gift shop! If we had to make any recommendations, it would be to label the light switches LOL. We had an incredible time and we are already planning our trip back for Jeep Fest. Thank you Blake and Melissa!!

Beautiful view of trees and stars from the the back deck and hot tub. Saw a couple shooting stars and it even decided to snow a bit on our last morning. Definitely will recommend to others. We stayed in the Pine View yurt for 6 days and loved every minute! The views are beautiful and the yurt is built so well that we felt like we could live there forever! The whole area is excellent for birders! And the sky at night is beautiful from the porch and the skylight! We have already booked for next year!! We can’t wait to spend 10 days in our new home away from home! Blake and Melissa have literally thought of everything to make you feel at home! Definitely recommend 100%!

Love both yurts – highly recommend!!! This is our second time staying here and have stayed in Pine View and White Oak. Both are amazing – so pleasant with great amenities and views. Beds are very comfortable and providing eye masks, coffee and popcorn was a nice touch. Great bathrooms, deck furniture, TV, sofa, heater/faux fireplace….. Both times they met us when we checked in to explain everything and were so gracious. The only thing we’d wished we had was an exhaust fan in the bathroom, but that was a very small thing!

Stayed 3 nights in the White Oak. We were both excited for our first stay in a yurt. This far exceeded our expectations! On the outside, the setting is so quiet and peaceful. The style of the yurt and the elevated deck is amazing. The hot tub placement makes for a very romantic setting. The view out over the holler, and the birds coming right up to the feeders when you are out there is just so enjoyable. The added feature of connecting my phone via bluetooth to the hot tub so I could play our music just made it so much more personal. And the deck furniture was comfortable for sitting out enjoying the peaceful sounds of nature.
Now, once inside, it is just laid out so beautiful. The placement of the amazing king size bed, with the Purple mattress was so comfortable, and facing the huge wide open window wall! The double recliner is great for kicking back and chilling while watching TV or just reading or whatever. All the woodwork is beautiful. The domed ceiling with that large clear skylight at the top! The walk-in shower is great, plenty of room for us both to enjoy.
It was probably the most relaxing stay we have ever had. And the apps that were logged in and available on the real flat screen TV were far beyond what any hotel or cabin stay has ever had included. We were not ready to leave. We will definitely plan a couple stays per year going forward! Next time we will try out the Pine View just for a different view of the woods.

Our stay at the Pine View Yurt was an Anniversary gift from our grand daughter. It is hard to describe how peaceful and relaxing this place is. The view from the deck gives you a feeling of being in the tree tops being entertained by all the beautiful birds and squirrels. It is very private and the Yurt is beautifully decorated, If you are looking for a peaceful place to get away from the everyday routine at home I would highly recommend this place.

I am currently sitting in the Pine View Yurt watching the squirrels hang from the bird feeder! I don’t even know where to start this review. I knew it was going to be great but WOW!!! Melissa and Blake you have outdone yourselves. The attention to detail is amazing. Everything you could need or want is here. The minute you walk in the Yurt has a homey and welcoming feel. We are here for our honeymoon and we will definitely be back. The kitchen has everything you need to cook. The bathroom is spacious and just beautiful. The petrified rock sink and the huge walk in shower…gorgeous. Top of the line soaps and shampoo. Every detail has been thought of right down to the toothbrush holder and band aids!
Now let me tell you about this purple mattress…omg. You are going to sleep great. Even the sheets are amazing and I am a bedding snob.
The Yurt is supplied with binoculars for bird watching, an umbrella, walking stick, deck of cards and books. There is nothing that hasn’t been thought of! The deck and hot tub are gorgeous. The hot tub is a 2 man with blue tooth speakers and very clean. The whole Yurt is super clean. I don’t feel like I can say enough great things. We don’t want to leave but we know we will definitely be back 💜

This might be a novel, but I promise it will be worth it.
Melissa and Blake have focused on details, comfort, and convenience. They have set the bar higher than most of my hotel stays during my life. They made it easy to never leave the yurt and truly enjoy your stay.
Regarding details, they really have thought of everything. Things you didn’t even think you needed they had ready. Do you need an umbrella? There is one in the yurt. Do you need a citronella candle? It’s there. Every single type of dish, pot and pan is there.
Regarding comfort, they have you taken care of completely. They have Mrs. Meyer’s lotion, soap, etc. There are about 3 space heaters you could use if you needed to and a beautiful free-standing heater as well. There are extra blankets and pillows everywhere. We parked our butts on the comfy reclining sofa most of the time we were indoors, and the Purple mattress was heavenly.
The convenience factor was not just in the details being well thought out, but the location as well. The one thing we forgot (non-stick spray) wasn’t even a problem because less than a mile away is a really nice convenience store. You are also only a couple miles from downtown Eureka Springs and Beaver Dam. The yurt’s location is so close to everything, but appropriately far enough away that you feel like you are in your own sanctuary.
Last but not least, Melissa made sure we were welcomed and knew how to operate everything before she left. You can tell they put pride into making sure you have the most enjoyable stay possible.
Probably the most telling piece of how much we enjoyed our experience: not only did we book our next trip in the yurt immediately while we were there, but we extended our trip an extra day when we learned the following night they had a vacancy! We really didn’t want to leave.
Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your stay. Our goal is to make our cabins second to none. And, thank you for the mention of the cooking spray! Don’t bring it next time, it will be there!

This was way beyond what I was expecting. Blake and Melissa have done better than outstanding with their accommodations. The White Oak yurt that we stayed in is so warm and cozy that you could almost forget that you are not in a traditional home. Modern accommodations in a nature inspired living space is something you must experience for yourself. The picturesque view is simply breathtaking. This is an awesome place to get away and unwind. I love it! Blake and Melissa you guys rock!
